Custom Engraved Knives and EDC Gear
What we can and can't engrave on knives and everyday carry gear, plus ideas for making a pocketknife or multitool into a keepsake someone actually carries.

Everyday carry gear, the stuff people actually keep in a pocket or on a belt, makes for a genuinely good gift when it's personalized. Unlike a lot of engraved items that end up on a shelf, this is the category most likely to leave the house every single day.
Pocketknives
Most folding knives have a flat section on the handle, often wood, bone, or a synthetic material, that takes an engraving well. Initials, a name, or a short phrase are the most common requests. We'll always take a look at the specific knife first, since materials and handle shapes vary a lot.
Multitools
A lot of multitools have a metal handle or a section that can be engraved without affecting how the tool functions. These make solid gifts for tradesmen, hunters, campers, or anyone who already carries one but doesn't have anything personalized about it.
Leather Sheaths and EDC Pouches
If engraving directly on a knife or tool isn't the right fit, a leather sheath or carry pouch is a great alternative. It's lower risk, still shows up every time the tool comes out, and works well as an add-on to a gift instead of the whole thing.
A Few Honest Limits
Not every knife or tool is a good candidate. Very small engraving areas, certain coatings, and some blade steels can limit what looks clean once it's engraved. Send us a photo of the specific piece before you order, and we'll tell you honestly whether it's a good fit or whether a sheath, tag, or case makes more sense instead.
