When to Order Custom Christmas Ornaments: A Timeline
A practical timeline for ordering custom engraved Christmas ornaments so they arrive in time for decorating, gift-giving, and holiday events.

Don't Wait Until December
Every year we get a rush of Christmas ornament orders in mid-December, and every year we have to tell some people we can't get them there in time. Custom engraving takes time — design, proofing, production, and shipping all add up. Here's a realistic timeline so your ornaments arrive when you need them.
The Ideal Order Window
For standard custom ornaments, order by November 15 to guarantee delivery before December 1. That gives us time for proofing, production, and shipping with room to spare. If you need them for a specific event like a tree lighting or family gathering, add another week.
Bulk and Corporate Orders
If you're ordering 20 or more ornaments for a business, team, or organization, start the process in October. Bulk orders need extra time for design approval, production runs, and packaging. The earlier you reach out, the more flexibility we have.
Rush Orders
We can handle rush orders in November and early December for an additional fee. Rush turnaround is typically 2-3 business days plus overnight shipping. After December 10, we can't guarantee any order will arrive by Christmas.
What Slows Things Down
Multiple rounds of proof changes, complex multi-layer designs, and large quantities all add time. If you send a clear design and approve the first proof, you'll get your order faster.
Plan Ahead and Relax
The best approach is to order early and forget about it. Your ornaments show up, you hang them on the tree, and you don't have to think about shipping deadlines in December.
